RYA Youth Sailing Scheme

The RYA Youth Sailing Scheme provides an enjoyable and progressive way to learn to sail. Each course successfully completed gain a certificate of achievement to recognise your progress. There is no maximum age limit to learn through this scheme but it is intended for younger participants up to age 16. If you are 16 or older we’d recommend looking at the RYA National Sailing Scheme Courses instead.

It is recommended that participants in the RYA Youth Sailing Scheme purchase the following books

The G11 Youth Sailing Scheme logbook is used to track each element that needs to be achieved for each stage and shows your progress through the scheme. It is yours to keep and can be taken to any RYA accredited training centre running the RYA Youth Sailing Scheme to continue through the scheme.

PDSSA can purchase these for you and add the cost to the price of any bookings but please let us know at least 2 weeks before your course, Email us or use the Contact Us form with your order stating the book reference, full title and price as shown in the RYA Book Shop. Where possible we will try to amalgamate orders to reduce the postage costs, a share of which will also be added to your purchase.
