Sailability Sailing in Britain's Ocean City

Welcome

At PDSSA Sailability, we welcome disabled people of all ages and experience to join us on the water.

Be it for training, an experience or just to escape the day-to-day for a while, our highly experienced crew can make it happen!

Take command of the sail boat, get out on the water in the powerboat or simply take a look around our yard, there’s something for everybody!

Sailability

Our Sailability programme is at the heart of PDSSA. We provide safe, supported sailing opportunities for disabled people of all ages and abilities. Whether you’re completely new to the water or already have experience, our trained volunteers and accessible boats ensure everyone can take part with confidence. It’s about freedom, fresh air, teamwork, and the simple joy of being out on the water.

Sailing Courses

We offer structured sailing courses for those who want to build skills and gain recognised qualifications. From beginner sessions to more advanced training, our experienced instructors provide patient, supportive coaching tailored to individual needs. Whether you’re learning for fun or working towards certification, we’ll help you develop confidence and independence on the water.

Powerboat Courses

For those interested in powerboating, we run practical and engaging courses designed to build competence and safety awareness. Our powerboat training covers essential handling skills, seamanship, and safety procedures, delivered by qualified instructors in a friendly environment. It’s a great way to broaden your skills, support club activities, or simply experience the thrill of being in control on the water.
