PDSSA attained RYA Sailability recognition In 2015.
We are equipped with an adapted keelboat, standard dinghies, powerboats and a displacement powerboat. If you come equipped with wheels and would need them in a boat or just need a little help transferring from shore we have an electrically operated hydraulic hoist.
Our sailing program runs sessions on demand within our standard program or can be setup on their own as required. We also run regular dedicated Sailability sessions on Wednesdays with both a morning and an afternoon session.
Our Sailability lead Richard is eagerly awaiting your enquiry. Working closely with you and our Centre Manager, he is ready organise and run sessions to get you afloat.
Whether you would like to try a taster session, learn to sail or are a seasoned sailor we’d be delighted to get you on the water.
Our learn to sail program follows the RYA Youth and National Sailing Schemes which can be taken over a number of short sailing sessions or as a standard 2 day straight course.
We also teach powerboating following the RYA Powerboat Scheme so if you’re more of a petrol head than trying to get your head around wind this could be for you!
If you’re not wanting to do anything formal at this stage how about just sailing for sailing sake, powerboating for powerboating sake and relax at any of our Sailability Open Sessions
Whatever floats your boat contact us to discuss the possibilities.
